Senior quarterback Chris Leak paced the Gators with over 200 yards passing and a touchdown and DeShawn Wynn added 70 yards and a touchdown. Other than OSU's Ted Ginn, Jr. returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown, the Buckeyes were held in check by the Gators. Urban Meyer bettered his bowl game record to 4-0 as a head coach with the title win.
