Syracuse won their record 10th title by defeating Johns Hopkins 13-10 in front of a record crowd of 48,970, the largest to ever witness an outdoor NCAA Championship. The Orangemen were paced by all-tournament team midfielder Dan Hardy who tallied three goals on the way to the title.
