The Northwest Missouri State Bearcats defeated the Grand Valley State Lakers, 30-23, for their third DII Football National Championship. Bearcats RB LaRon Council ran for 172 yards and WR Jake Soy caught a 26-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
