In the 2004 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse National Championship game, Syracuse defeated Navy by a score of 14-13. The game was closely contested throughout, but Syracuse pulled away in the final minute with Mike Powell scoring the key goal to go along with his five assists. The lacrosse championship is Syracuse?s ninth.
