The College of New Jersey defeated Salisbury by a score of 9-7. Salisbury was undefeated and top-seeded, but TCNJ was able to overcome them, led by Lauren Gossner?s five goals. The Lions were coached by Sharon PfIuger. It was the first of two consecutive national titles for The College of New Jersey, and their twelfth overall.
