Tennessee defeated Georgia by a score of 73-51. Georgia was seeded third, while Tennessee was seeded first. The Lady Volunteers were led by All-Tournament Team selection Nikki McCray. Tennessee went on to lose to Connecticut in the final game of the tournament, and finished the season with a record of 34-3.
