Grand Valley State defeated North Dakota by a score of 10-3. The Lakers, coached by Brian Kelly, finished their season with a record of 14-1. The game was played at Braly Municipal Stadium in Florence, Alabama. It was the second of four national titles in five years for Grand Valley State.
