In the 2004 NCAA Division I Men's Baseball National Championship series, Cal State Fullerton won the championship by defeating Texas twice. They won the second and clinching game behind the arm strength of the Series Most Outstanding Player, Jason Windsor, who pitched his second complete game of the 2004 College World Series.
