In the 2000 NCAA Division I Men's Baseball National Championship series, Louisiana State University defeated Stanford by a score of 6-5 to win the championship. LSU finished the tournament undefeated, and won their championship game with Brad Cresse?s dramatic RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning.
