The University of Connecticut won the 1981 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer National Championship game by defeating Alabama A%26M in overtime by a score of 2-1. The Huskies, coached by Joe Morrone, were led by their two All-American players, Elvis Comrie and Pedro DeBrito.
