ASU and the Lady Vols were kept in a dead lock 1-1 tie until the ninth inning when freshman third-baseman, Jennifer Griffin hit her ninth home run of the season give Tennessee a 3-1 lead. The Sun Devils were not able to come back in the ninth and their season was ended with a 3-1 loss to the Lady Vols.
