UCLA defeated Ohio State by a score of 3-1. UCLA was led by All-American Adam Naeve, who tallied 15 kills, and All-Tournament Team member Scott Morrow. The Bruins were coached by the legendary Al Scates. UCLA went on to lose to BYU in the final round of the tournament.
